Strangely Strange But Oddly Normal


This must be the holy grail below, what looks like a DVD style long box:

"Do you remember those Island Records Sampler Vinyl Albums such as You Can All Join In, El Pea, Bumpers and Nice Enough To Eat that were issued at cut price in the late 60’s and early 70’s ? Well, on the 17th October Island Remasters on Universal issued a 3 CD Box set entitled “Strangely Strange But Oddly Normal” which takes much of the content on those albums and brings them together in the box set, which includes a 48 page booklet.  4 Traffic songs are featured and other artists include Nick Drake, Jethro Tull, Free, Fairport Convention and many more. 
Priced at around £15.99, it’s got to be a must buy. 

You might like to know that the recently released 3 CD Anthology from Island - 'Strangely Strange But Oddly Normal' - also features a version of 'Feelin 'Alright' by Traffic that has never been issued on CD before. It has been  previously issued on the Dave Mason double vinyl set 'Scrapbook' and it’s interesting to hear how this song evolved from this early version into the polished version which appear on the TRAFFIC album, the bands second album."
