RUSSIAN RADIO PODCAST
The above broadcast was received in Staffordshire UK on short wave by the much missed Rob Leighton (Imagination Radio Show). We can all listen to Rob's rustic recording.
4 hours of Toward The Unknown Region on 9290Khz (Short Wave 49 metre band) from a high power ex 'cold war' Russian Radio Transmitter in Riga Latvia. Revel in those groovy propaganda pop sounds being broadcast on analogue steam radio in 2003...
Reception sounds poor? Remember, this is what radio sounded like in the 60's and 70's when we all struggled to hear the latest sounds. In fact this was the kind of daytime reception of medium wave BBC Radio 1 that we suffered in the East of England.

Everything ripens at its time... and becomes fruit at its hour...
